About The Maker

My name is Nadia, I am 27 years old and live in Denmark in an apartment, with my boyfriend and our cat Simba. I have always been very creative, love to draw, and create things with my hands, so this is where the story starts...At the age of 17, I started my first fursuit, and it was then that I realized the skills involved in making one. This led me to pursue an education where I could gain the missing knowledge and more. Shortly after, I began the Tailor education. I learned how to pattern make, sew and using different methods, use specialized machines, and express myself creatively through clothing design. In December 2019, I completed my education as a clothing craftsman with top grades. My final exam project ended up being a full-digitigrade fursuit, but with a more "professional" approach. This also supports the quality assurance I can provide for future customers.After becoming a tailor, I fell in love with the clothing and fashion industry, and I continued my educational journey in that direction. I pursued an AP degree in Design & Business with a fashion specialty. Here, I acquired many creative methods and tools to improve my creative process and analyze the design DNA of other fashion brands. During this program, I had a 9-week internship at the Royal Danish Theatre in Copenhagen, which changed my life, and I am eternally grateful for the opportunity.Shortly after completing the AP degree, I was admitted to the advanced program, called the Professional Bachelor's in Fashion Design. Here, I learned a lot about myself, as this program focuses on me as a designer, what inspires me, and what I would like to see in the streets. It was an amazing experience, and I would do it all over again. I completed this education at the end of December 2023. Since then, I have been working as a tailor, but now on starting up UnderDog Studio and have been based there since. These are the starting prices on the costumes/features I offer.
All my prices are in Euros but will be converted to DKK when the quote is made.
Prices will increase depending on the costume's features, numbers of fur colors, complexity, special request fabrics etc.Shipping is not included in the price. Those will be calculated when the costume is finished.VAT is included in the total price.

Please read this carefully throughout so there won't be any misunderstandings.I’m a single person running this company, and I'm always working hard to improve my products.I do not work with real fur!Do not commission me if you don’t have the money for it!

Allergy warning! I do have a cat in my household, but my workshop is a pet free environment. Let me know if this is a concern of yours.You must be 18 years or older to order a fursuit from me. Asking a parent/guardian will not be accepted.If you get accepted for a commission slot you will be asked to provide a picture of some personal ID.

General commission info:

Before work begins a 40% non-refundable down payment is required when ordering a costume. This secures your spot and covers material costs.In the event of commission cancellation, payment will not be refunded.In cases involving a payment plan, incremental payments of at least 20% will be required during the process for work to continue.Smaller projects such as tails, paws, feet or arm sleeves, require a full payment up front.I do not work with deadlines.If the client stops paying without prior notice, I reserve the right to either stop the projects or keep the suit and sell it.I reserve the right to decline completing a commission if the client displays rude behavior, makes threats, exhibits excessive demands, ceases communication, or consistently ignores my messages.The suit examples in my gallery are not for sale. They already have an owner.For NSFW body modifications you need to message me directly.I don't create costumes based on copyrighted or existing characters like Pokemon, Digimon, Sonic, My Little Pony, etc. Original designs inspired by these themes are welcome, provided they incorporate your unique twist.

Submission of stolen or AI-generated characters will lead to blacklisting.

Please understand that if your commission isn't selected this time, it's not personal. I choose only a few designs for each batch. Feel free to try again in my next opening. Thank you for your interest!

Getting a quote:

When ordering a fursuit, a detailed (SFW or censored) reference sheet is needed. You can create one yourself, find a free template, or commission one from an artist. A 3-sided reference sheet is preferred, but 2 sides are acceptable as long as all details are clear on both the front and back.After the reference sheet is received, I'll look over it and let the client know if something is not possible.A 100% match between the colors of the materials and the reference sheets, are not guaranteed. However, an effort to find the closest match possible is made. Before ordering, I will provide links for the fur options to ensure satisfaction with the chosen fur.Ordering a full-suit necessitates a Duct Tape Dummy (DTD) of the client's figure. I'll guide the client in the construction of a proper DTD. If the client's DTD is inadequately made, I reserve the right to request a new one. Additionally, the client is responsible for covering the shipping and material costs of the DTD.see more info about DTD’s here:

( I would recommend a new pair of crocs )In cases where the client fails to pay the shipping fee or pick up the suit within a 2 two month time period, a storage fee will be applied.
( In certain cases arrangements can be made to nullify the fee. )
I do not have the storage space for the suit laying around for too long.

Repairs:

All products come with a 2 months warranty.
Warranty is NOT applicable if the damage is caused by the client.In case of damage after 2 months, I provide repairs for a fee.If the client provided wrong measurements or has gained/lost weight in the building process I will charge extra.The suit needs to be cleaned properly before shipping it to me. Don’t ship a dirty suit! Otherwise I will charge a washing fee.
The client pays for the shipping.Furs and fabrics used for previous projects might become discontinued, rare or different in shade. Fur samples will be provided with the product, along with the necessary information.

Shipping:

I ship worldwide and will provide a tracking number when shipped.The customer pays for the shipping. When the costume is shipped out I'm no longer responsible for any lost or damaged package.The suit will not be shipped if the full price is not paid.I ship with PostNord, GLS and DHL.I’m not responsible for any Taxes and Duty fees in your country. Please check up on your local rules beforehand.Con delivery is possible.

I reserve the right to use all media made in my studio for commercial and non commercial use. Any pictures or videos shared will be used with proper permission and credit from the owner/author.

Payment:

I accept both VISA/MasterCardI also accept Bank Transfers (IBAN).I accept payment plans, but I will not start before the 40% is paid.I will add bank Transfer fees on top of the Total Amount, and for every transfer when choosing a payment plan.
The transfer fee for bank transactions (IBAN) is 7€ per transfer.
For VISA/MasterCard it's 2.75% for each transfer.If you choose a credit card as payment method, the currency will change into DKK calculated on the daily currency conversion. The Complete Guide to Fursuit Care

A fursuit is a handmade piece of craftsmanship, and with the right care, it can stay in excellent condition for many years. By following a few simple habits before, during, and after suiting, you can help protect your fursuit from dirt, unpleasant odours, unnecessary wear, and damage.

Proper fursuit care starts before you even put your suit on. A little preparation and regular maintenance can make a significant difference in keeping your fursuit clean, comfortable, and looking its best.

1. Before You Suit Up

Maintain Good Personal Hygiene

Warmth and moisture can encourage bacteria and unpleasant odours to develop. Taking a shower before suiting up and making sure your skin is clean and dry can help keep your fursuit fresher for longer.Using deodorant may also help. Avoid products that could leave stains or transfer strong fragrances onto the materials.

Wear Suitable Undergarments

We recommend wearing a breathable, moisture-wicking underlayer beneath your fursuit. Sportswear or a dedicated bodysuit can help absorb sweat and reduce the transfer of body oils and dead skin cells onto the inside of your costume.If you plan to suit over several days, such as at a convention, bring multiple sets of undergarments so you can change into clean, dry clothing each day.

Check Your Surroundings

Before suiting up, take a moment to familiarise yourself with the area. Look out for mud, puddles, food and drinks, stairs, sharp objects, hot surfaces, and anything else that could damage your suit.Visibility and mobility can be limited while wearing a fursuit, so being aware of potential hazards beforehand can prevent unnecessary accidents.

2. While Wearing Your Fursuit

Keep Away from Potential Hazards

Be mindful of your surroundings and avoid anything that could damage your costume. Keep your fursuit away from open flames, hot surfaces, harsh chemicals, and swimming pools.Synthetic fur can be damaged by heat and may catch fire. Chlorinated water can affect certain materials, while soaking a fursuit can add considerable weight and put stress on its seams and construction.If someone wants a photo or a hug, ask them to move to a safe location if necessary.

Avoid Sitting or Rolling on the Ground

Dirt, dust, grass, and other debris can easily become trapped in the fur. Avoid sitting directly on the ground or rolling around, especially outdoors, to keep your suit cleaner and reduce the need for frequent washing.

Avoid Rough Physical Activity

Although your fursuit is made to be worn, excessive force and rough handling can damage seams, fur, claws, paw pads, and other details.Avoid activities that involve pulling, wrestling, or putting unnecessary strain on the costume. Treat your fursuit with care to help preserve its construction and appearance.

Move Carefully and Stay Aware

Your vision, hearing, and mobility may be restricted while wearing your fursuit. Take your time when walking and be especially careful around stairs, doorways, crowded areas, and uneven surfaces.Whenever possible, have a trusted handler assist you with navigating unfamiliar environments.

3. After Suiting

After every use, inspect your fursuit from head to tail. Check for dirt, stains, loose seams, damaged details, and areas that may need extra attention.

After Light Use

If you have only worn your fursuit briefly and have not sweated much:• Hang the bodysuit on a sturdy, wide-shouldered hanger.• Position the head so air can circulate freely inside.• Use a fan to improve airflow and speed up drying.• Brush the fur gently in the direction of the fibres.• Allow the hand paws and feet paws to air out thoroughly.If disinfection is necessary, use a product suitable for the specific materials and follow its instructions. Test it on an inconspicuous area first.

Never wear or store your fursuit until every part is completely dry.

After Heavy Use or Excessive Sweating

If your fursuit is noticeably damp or you have sweated heavily, clean the affected areas thoroughly before putting it away.Never leave a damp fursuit sealed inside a bag or storage container. Trapped moisture can cause unpleasant odours, bacterial growth, and potentially mould.

4. Cleaning Your Fursuit Bodysuit

Cleaning methods depend on the materials, construction, and any built-in details. Always follow the individual care instructions supplied with your fursuit.If your bodysuit is suitable for machine washing, these general guidelines may be appropriate:

1. Turn the bodysuit inside out if its construction allows it.2. Remove detachable padding and other components that need to be cleaned separately.3. Close all zippers and check that pockets and openings are empty.4. Use a gentle, cold-water wash with a mild detergent suitable for the materials.5. Avoid bleach, fabric softener, and high temperatures.6. Remove excess water carefully. Avoid aggressive spinning if it could strain the costume.7. When drying your fursuit, always make sure the weight is distributed evenly across the drying rack. Avoid hanging the entire suit from one small area, as the weight of the wet fur can stretch the fabric and cause it to lose its shape. You can also hang the bodysuit on a sturdy, wide-shouldered hanger in a well-ventilated room.8. Use a fan to improve airflow and help the suit dry more quickly. (I can also recommend a wetsuit dryer)9. Gently brush the fur during the drying process if the material allows it.10. Make sure the entire bodysuit is completely dry inside and out before storing it.If your fursuit contains foam, built-in padding, glued details, or specialised materials, do not assume that it is machine washable. Spot cleaning or professional advice may be the safest option.

5. Cleaning Your Fursuit Tail

Some smaller tails without special internal structures may be suitable for machine washing, provided their materials and construction allow it.Large tails and tails containing foam cores require additional care. Check whether the core can be removed and whether the remaining materials are suitable for washing before proceeding.Allow the tail plenty of time to dry, paying particular attention to its centre. The outer fur may feel dry while moisture remains trapped inside.

6. Cleaning Your Hand Paws

The appropriate cleaning method depends on the construction of your hand paws, including the type of claws and paw pads.

After washing, hang the paws so air can circulate freely around them. A fan can help speed up drying.Brush the fur gently during the drying process to help maintain its appearance. Make sure the paws are completely dry before wearing or storing them.

7. Cleaning Your Feet Paws

Feet paws are often exposed to more sweat and moisture than other parts of your fursuit, so they require particular attention.

After Every Use

• Allow the feet paws to air out thoroughly.• Roll down the ankle sections if the design allows it, helping the interior dry.• Clean the inside with a suitable product when necessary.• Check that both the inner shoes and outer paws are completely dry.

Cleaning Paw Pads and Claws

Feet paws with fabric claws and fabric paw pads can be cleaned using a soft, damp cloth and a mild detergent suitable for the materials. Gently dab the affected areas without soaking the fabric, and avoid excessive scrubbing, which may damage the fibres or affect the shape of the details.If the entire foot paw is machine washable, follow the washing instructions provided with your fursuit.

Drying Your Feet Paws

Feet paws must dry completely, both inside and out. Place them in a well-ventilated area and use a fan or a suitable boot dryer if appropriate for the materials.Avoid direct heat, radiators, and high-temperature hairdryers, as these can damage fur, adhesives, and other components.

8. Cleaning Your Fursuit Head

Your fursuit head requires special attention because it may contain foam, adhesives, eyes and other components that cannot tolerate ordinary washing.Important: Keep cleaning products and unnecessary moisture away from the eyes and other delicate details. Some cleaning agents can damage paint, surface finishes, and adhesives.

Light Cleaning

After wearing your fursuit head, you can:• Gently remove small exterior stains with a slightly damp cloth.• Clean the interior carefully using a suitable product compatible with the materials.• Use a fan to improve airflow inside the head.• Brush the fur gently with an appropriate brush.Avoid soaking the head, as moisture can become trapped in the foam and take a long time to evaporate.

Deep Cleaning Without a Machine

Gently wipe the inside of the head with a clean cloth and a suitable cleaning product.Use a mild disinfectant that is safe for the materials, and avoid soaking the foam or lining.Spot-clean the exterior fur with a damp cloth and mild detergent when needed.Use a fan to help the inside dry thoroughly.Make sure the head is completely dry before storing it.

9. Storing Your Fursuit

Proper storage helps maintain your fursuit's shape, condition, and overall appearance.• Always store your fursuit when it is completely dry.• Hang the bodysuit on a wide-shouldered hanger whenever possible.• Store the head in a position that prevents it from being crushed or losing its shape.• Keep the suit away from direct sunlight, damp environments, and excessive heat.• Avoid placing heavy objects on top of the fur.• Choose a clean storage area with good ventilation.Avoid compressing your fursuit into a tightly packed space for extended periods, as this can flatten the fur and put unnecessary strain on its construction.

10. Repairs and Maintenance

Even a well-maintained fursuit may eventually need minor repairs. Loose seams, worn areas, and damaged details should be addressed as early as possible to prevent further deterioration.If you notice damage and are unsure how to repair it safely, contact your fursuit maker for advice before attempting any repairs yourself.Taking good care of your fursuit is one of the best ways to protect the time, craftsmanship, and materials that went into creating it.With regular maintenance and careful handling, you can enjoy your fursuit for years to come.

Using a Spot Cleaner

A spot cleaner is a great investment for fursuit care! It provides a gentle way to clean your fursuit without being too harsh on the materials, making it suitable for both the head and the rest of the suit. Whether you're dealing with small, localised stains or want to freshen up larger areas of your fursuit, a spot cleaner can be a helpful tool.Always use a cleaning solution suitable for your fursuit's materials and avoid over-saturating the foam or fabric. Even when using a spot cleaner, it is essential to let your fursuit dry completely all the way through before packing it away. This helps prevent unpleasant odours, mould, and moisture damage.

Using Fursuit Spray

Fursuit spray is a great companion to bring along to conventions! It helps freshen up your fursuit between outings and can help reduce bacteria and unpleasant odours, depending on the product. These sprays are often available in Dealers' Den areas at conventions (or on etsy.com) and come in a wide variety of scents, so you can find one you love.However, fursuit spray is not a replacement for properly cleaning your fursuit after a convention. It is still important to clean your suit when needed and allow it to dry completely before storing it. Always choose a spray that is safe for your fursuit's materials and follow the product's instructions.

Every fursuit is unique, and different makers may use different materials, techniques, and construction methods. For this reason, I always recommend contacting your own fursuit maker for specific care instructions tailored to your suit.Fursuit makers may have different approaches to cleaning and maintaining their work, so what works for one suit may not be suitable for another.
